Exam Prep Match: see where your preparation already counts
Most students prepare for one exam and wonder about three others. Exam Prep Match answers the question behind that: if you are preparing for exam X, how much of exam Y's syllabus are you already covering — subject by subject, topic by topic? It lives inside Explorer and always compares against the exam in your current plan, so you know exactly which side is yours.
What you see
- A match per exam — every exam compared with yours, tiered Strong match, Good match or Review, with an estimated percentage.
- Subject by subject — for each subject, the topics your preparation already covers and the topics that would be new, listed by name so you can check them against the official syllabus.
- Exams with papers — for an exam like CUET (UG), each paper is matched on its own; Rukmai never rolls one paper's score up into a claim about the whole application.
- Compare any two exams — a free-form tool for a pair you are curious about, whether or not either is in a plan.
How the comparison is made
Each exam's syllabus is stored as subjects and chapters from official publications. Comparisons are produced offline, a few times a year, by an AI-assisted review that places every chapter of the target exam in exactly one of two lists — covered by your preparation, or not — and the percentages are then computed by plain arithmetic from those lists. Nothing is generated while you browse, and simple fixed rules decide the order you see.
What it is not
- It is not a readiness score. It measures syllabus overlap, not your mastery, the exam's difficulty, question style, speed or cut-offs.
- It only knows the syllabus details added to Rukmai so far. It may miss an official topic; always check the latest official syllabus before changing your study plan.
- Some exam pairs are deliberately never compared — a medical exam against an engineering one, say — because the result would be noise rather than guidance.
